Russell Autry (Rusty to his friends and customers) The Olive Branch
Café is THE gourmet pizza restaurant in Marrero and now Algiers.
Although he is young, Rusty has plenty of restaurant experience and it
shows. He knows the key to any restaurateur’s success is being
hands-on. He is always at one of his stores making sure the customers
are satisfied. He keeps his employees on their toes and they work hard
to keep his business running smoothly day after day.
First from its
storefront location on the Expressway and now from 1995 Barataria Blvd
in Oakridge Plaza, The Olive Branch Café has been serving the
“Bestbank” for over seven years. Our newest location is at 5163 Gen De
Gaulle Dr. in Algiers across from Holy Cross College.
At The Olive Branch Café, we use
only the highest quality cheeses, and the freshest ingredients
possible. We bring in the finest Spanish Olives and Italian olive oil
because our customers deserve the best. Vine ripened Roma Tomatoes,
Romaine lettuce, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, red onions and garlic
are brought in daily to ensure that your pizza, salad, sub, or pasta
is perfect every time. Our pizza dough is prepared in house every day
and no pizza is prepared until you order it. All of our food is made
to order, so we can make everything just the way you like it. There
are four kinds of cheese in our homemade lasagna and our signature
Caesar Salad dressing is prepared almost daily from scratch. Do you
want to know why our chicken is always so tasty? We marinate it for
hours in a creamy Italian dressing with a special blend of herbs and
spices.
